This website is the public record of Bhaktaraj Meher — National Merit 1996, National Award 2012, Sant Kabir Award 2015 — and of the teaching that still runs from the family loom in Kapabari (Thuapali), Bheden, Bargarh, Odisha.

This is the official portfolio of Bhaktaraj Meher, master weaver of Sambalpuri Bandha at Kapabari, Remunda, Bargarh. It is not a shop. We collect only what is needed to answer a training enquiry, a visit, or a letter about the work.
What we collect
The contact form asks only for full name, phone, optional email, subject and message. We do not ask for identity papers, bank details or Aadhaar.
Why we collect it
So the studio can answer a training, visit or craft enquiry. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
How it is held
Form submissions are stored in our administration system. We keep a message only as long as it is needed to answer you.
